Multiple and Performance on the Plane Surface and the Body

How can a surface plane fit around the body? I incise textiles laid out in basic geometric shapes in such a manner that the body can move in and through the surface plane. Every movement defines the surface plane anew. The three-dimensional interplay of body and clothing becomes visible.
The result is a multiple in the form of a do-it-yourself box with all the components necessary to carry out the scheme. The work was shown in 2002 in a performance for 2 surface planes and 2 dancers as part of my interdisciplinary diploma in sculpture and fashion at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee.
