dancing dough

Series on landscape and body
since 2014

To me, the Earth is like dough dancing to physico-chemical choreographies.

The folds of the Spanish upper mountain range, where I have chosen to do some drawings, were formed by the collision of continental plates. I follow the rhythm of the mountainous formation with my eyes. My drawing hand follows the motions of my eyes without my looking at the paper.

In north-east Iceland, I have produced various photographic panoramas of the mountain formations by rotating around my own axis. To this end, I either hold my camera at eye-level or at arm’s length.
