Series on mountain reliefs
Since 2014
In mountain reliefs, I search for the traces of movements that build and steadily erode a mountain range. To this purpose, I have developed a number of methods of my own, including the moulding of segments of the relief in latex. I use these textile-like latex impressions partly as printing blocks, partly as objects.
The works in this series were created during fieldwork in the Icelandic East Fjords and in the Spanish High Pyrenees.
