The installation refers to the historical location of the house on the Große Gildewart, one of Osnabrück's oldest trade routes, as well as to the former and current use of the rooms as a smithy and a gallery café.

I tidied up and arranged scattered everyday objects of the café - a wardrobe, toys, books, a piano - into a pile in the actual exhibition space of the gallery-café
